Instructions
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
2. Add oats, diced apple, cinnamon, and salt. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Stir in milk and cook for another 2-3 minutes until creamy.
4. Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup.
5. Serve warm, optionally topped with additional apple slices and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Notes
Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra texture and flavor.
