Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Green peas
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • 1. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  • 3. Add the green peas and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 4. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  • 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

This pea soup is great with a slice of crusty bread.
